Task 5-The Compass

 The Compass




Introduction: 

Our objective is to create a compass with easy to find materials. We think it will work because we already knew the experiment.



Materials: 

-1 Bowl

-Water

-1 Cork

-1 Sewing Needle

-1 Magnet

-1 Cutter

-1 Marker


Procedure: 

First, we put some water in the bowl. Now, we cut a piece of the cork with the cutter. When we have the cork, we mark with the marker the N (North) and S (South) in the correct direction. After marking the cork, we put the sewing needle inside. When we’ve got the needle inside, we scratch the needle with the magnet, magnetizing it. 



Results: 

After a few attempts we made it correctly and it worked.

                  The constellations A constellation is a set of fixed stars or unrelated stars that form an imaginary pattern.There are 88 constellations.The Greeks discovered the constellations.
